Brahma P. Sen
I am not a physician—I am a technologist. I work with data and systems rather than stethoscopes. For more than 17 years, my career has been deeply rooted in healthcare.
I began by analyzing health data from providers, hospitals, and nursing homes, using CMS Electronic Quality Measures to evaluate how care is delivered across dimensions such as quality, affordability, accessibility, and timeliness. What stood out most was the gap between where care is designed and where care actually happens.
Clinic-In-Pocket was born from that realization. It is not an attempt to replace clinicians, but to extend clinical guidance beyond the clinic, using technology to support patients in the moments when questions arise, physicians are unavailable or a health companion is needed to guide through the journey.
Clinic-In-Pocket is being built in collaboration with physicians and healthcare professionals, combining front line clinical insight with data-driven design. The mission is simple: to make trusted, timely, and informed care feel closer—personal, accessible, and always within reach.
If I want to buy something, I walk into a store and browse through the items and purchase it. I can go to Amazon or other online retailers, place an order and the items show up at my doorstep. Should I not be able to access healthcare in a similar way? If I have a health concern, should I not be able to get an answer quickly, easily, and reliably? This is the mission of Clinic-In-Pocket.
